East Texas BBQ Houston food truck: ribs, brisket, and more
We kicked off Food Truck Wednesdays at work with the East Texas BBQ food truck, and they set the bar high. The crew is originally from Palestine, Texas, and couldn’t have been friendlier. I ordered a veggie plate (and forgot to take a picture of mine), but I took plenty of photos of my friends’ plates filled with ribs, brisket, sausage, and chicken with all the sides. The BBQ sauce was the kind you want to put on everything. If you’re looking for the East Texas BBQ food truck in Houston, keep an eye out for their schedule or text ahead to order. Definitely worth tracking down.

For Custodian Appreciation Day (Oct. 2) this year, we wanted to treat the ladies who clean our office. I made a simple thank-you template on Canva, and it reminded me how something slightly personalized can make a big difference. We paired each card with a Chick-fil-A gift card, and it got me thinking about even more ways to celebrate our custodial staff next year. Whether you’re part of a school PTO, an office team, or just want to say thank you, here are some…
