This year, I made a commitment to take my blog seriously, and it’s been one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve made. My big-picture goal is to grow Holly in Houston into a thriving, informative city lifestyle blog (with a splash of motherhood and recipes) and eventually qualify for Mediavine. I know there are other great ad networks, but that’s the one I have my eye on for now.
In June, I focused on writing content that’s both helpful and searchable. I’ve been learning more about SEO, updating old posts, and creating new ones I think you’ll love. I also started giving my Pinterest a much-needed refresh, so if you’re not already following me there, now is the time!!
I’ll be sharing more vegetarian recipes, quick breakfast ideas, and of course, plenty of Houston and mom life content.
I’m still figuring out the right balance with blogging and content creation. I’d love to dive into more video soon, but I’ve decided to save that for a future project so I can keep building consistency with my writing.
