Cypress, TX is 2025’s hottest ZIP code for movers
If you have ever driven northwest from Houston, you know Cypress has a special kind of suburban charm. And apparently, a lot of other people are noticing it too. In 2024, 25.87 million Americans, nearly 8% of the U.S. population, decided to pack up and move. Some bought their first home, some left the family nest, and others just wanted a fresh start. With housing costs, climate worries, and politics shaping decisions, more and more movers are choosing suburban life over city living. Cypress, Texas, ZIP code 77433, tops the list for 2025, welcoming 3,638 new households in just the first five months. That’s a lot of new neighbors! Following…

Cypress has a new pizza spot, and it’s already making waves. Via 313, the Austin-born Detroit-style pizzeria, officially opened its Cypress location on August 15. Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. We stopped in to check it out and started with the beet and house salads, plus the roasted artichokes, which turned out to be a must-try starter. When it came to pizzas, we went all in: The Ambassador Bridge, The Detroiter, and The Four Cheese. The Cypress location keeps the Via 313 vibe alive with thick, cheesy Detroit-style squares that are crisp on the edges and loaded with flavor. Friendly staff, a laid-back atmosphere, and happy hour prices…
