Bread Zeppelin to Open Second Houston Location in Memorial City

Houston food lovers will soon have another place to grab a Zeppelin. Bread Zeppelin is expanding with a new Memorial City location at 9753 Katy Freeway, set to open in September 2025.

The Dallas-based brand has gained a big following in Houston thanks to its unique “Zeppelins,” custom chopped salads tucked inside hollowed-out, freshly baked baguettes. The concept blends the crunch of artisan bread with the freshness of a salad, creating a hybrid that has gone viral on TikTok and Instagram.

Avalanche Food Group brought Bread Zeppelin to Houston in May 2024 with its first location at 3235 Southwest Freeway in Summit Square. The Greenway spot quickly became a hit, with Houstonians sharing their creations online and praising the mix of flavors, textures, and fresh ingredients.

At Bread Zeppelin, you can order signature salad combinations or build your own with five types of greens, marinated proteins, nearly 40 toppings, and 20 house-made dressings.

At my job, Bread Zeppelin has already become a go-to lunch spot. The food is fresh, filling, and always delicious, whether you’re craving a loaded Zeppelin with bold flavors or keeping it lighter with a salad bowl. The Houston locations are operated by Avalanche Food Group, known for running Twin Peaks restaurants across Texas. Beyond food, the Rosa family, who lead AFG, has donated more than $600,000 to military families, veterans, educators, and first responders. Most recently, their Bread Zeppelin and Twin Peaks locations hosted a Back-to-School Supply Drive that raised $78,000 for local teachers.
