Houston’s spicy chicken scene is getting a fiery new addition. Angry Chickz, the popular Nashville hot chicken brand with a cult following on the West Coast, is opening its first Texas location in Webster on April 25, 2025.
Located at 18207 Egret Bay Blvd, just minutes from Clear Lake and Space Center Houston, Angry Chickz is ready to introduce Houstonians to its crave-worthy fried chicken, signature mac and cheese, and customizable heat levels—from mild to eye-watering.
To celebrate the big debut, Angry Chickz is kicking things off with a grand opening celebration on April 25 that includes giveaways and some spicy surprises. The first 100 guests will score limited-edition Angry Chickz jerseys, and five lucky fans will walk away with free Angry Chickz for a year.
Founded by David Mkhitaryan in 2018, the brand quickly grew from a single storefront in East Hollywood to more than two dozen locations across California, Arizona, and Nevada. Known for its bold flavors, fast-casual vibes, and loyal following, Angry Chickz is now bringing its signature spice to the Houston area.
This is just the beginning for Angry Chickz in Houston, and if the hype from the West Coast is any indication, this won’t be the last time we’re seeing that signature red rooster around town.
