Located in the Galleria area, at the Galleria mall. The restaurant is very clean and has such a classy feel to it. We came on a Sunday morning and the ambiance was amazing with the live music
To start off they served us homemade bread and delicious olive oil. Gotta love free bread. (You can find the Fig & Olive Houston menu here.) For our appetizer, we had the Mushroom Croquette. DELICIOUS. Like seriously I will be back just for this appetizer.
We sipped on mimosas and talked about our plans for the day. Fig & Olive also has a gorgeous inside bar and a large outdoor patio. You might’ve seen their patio on your favorite Houston Bloggers Instagram page
Jade had the French Toast which was topped with mixed berries, Vermont maple syrup with lavender and vanilla whipped cream. I had the Provencal Breakfast which included two scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, chicken apple sausage pancetta, and a stuffed kumato tomato.
For dessert, we had the Fig & Olive Tasting which features four bite-sized desserts: Chocolate Obsession, Seasonal Sorbet, Crunchy Praline, and Pot de Crème. It was amazing and perfect to share! I think our favorite was the chocolate obsession.
