Family-friendly Halloween Trunk or Treats in Houston 2025


Get ready, Houston area families! From October 25th through October 31st, local churches and community spaces are hosting free events that turn car trunks into candy stations, feature food trucks, bounce houses, and even carnival games. Dress in your favorite costume, compete for the best costume, and enjoy live music, movie nights, monster mash parties, haunted houses, and more. Some events even include a blessing service or visits to a pumpkin patch, making it a week full of fun activities for everyone.

At most Trunk or Treats, kids go from car to car collecting candy, enjoying themed decorations, and taking part in games and activities. Many local churches, schools, and community centers host these events.

Trunk or Treat at Hadi Law
Get ready for a fun and free evening of Halloween festivities at Hadi Law in Houston on Thursday, October 16, 2025. The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 PM and offers a safe space for kids to collect candy from creatively decorated trunks. Families can enjoy festive fun while meeting neighbors and community members. 

Trunk or Treat at Living Word Church
Trunk or Treat is back at Living Word Church on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Families can enjoy an afternoon of candy-filled fun, festive car decorations, and safe trick-or-treating for kids of all ages. Costumes are encouraged, so bring your little ghosts and superheroes for a community celebration full of sweet treats.

Trunk or Treat at Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics

Join the Halloween fun at Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics on Saturday, October 25 from 12–2 PM! Kids can enjoy face painting, coloring sheets, stickers, exclusive giveaways while supplies last, and plenty of candy.

Trunk or Treat at Clear Lake United Methodist Church
Celebrate Halloween safely with Clear Lake United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. This free family event features decorated trunks, games, candy, popcorn, and prizes. Costumes are encouraged, so dress up and enjoy an evening of festive fun for kids of all ages.

Trunk or Treat at KW Southwest

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 26th, 6–8 PM for a fun-filled evening at KW Southwest! This annual trunk treat event transforms the parking lot into a festive environment where families can go trunk to trunk collecting candy at candy stations. Enjoy a safe environment, show off your Halloween costumes, and join in the costume contests. Last year, over 1,500 people attended this family-friendly event, so get ready for spooky fun, bounce houses, and plenty of sweet treats for all ages.

Trunk or Treat at Houston Northwest Church
Head to the HNW Parking Lot on October 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. for a free, family-friendly Trunk or Treat. Families can walk from car to car collecting candy, playing games, and enjoying fun activities in a safe setting. The event will feature festive trunk decorations, prizes for the best displays, and community partners like the YMCA joining in on the fun.

Trunk or Treat at Maven Sawyer Yards

Celebrate Halloween with the whole family at Maven Sawyer Yards on Friday, October 31 from 6–8 PM. Local businesses and art studios will deck out their trunks and hand out candy, while the patio comes alive with spooky décor and festive activities. Enjoy candy, fun photo spots, and a safe, welcoming environment for kids of all ages. Costumes are encouraged and admission is free!

Fallbrook Fun Fest

Bring the kids and enjoy a safe, family-friendly Halloween celebration at Fallbrook Church’s Fun Fest on Friday, October 31 from 5:30–7:30 PM. Geared for infants through 5th graders, the event includes trunk-or-treating, bounce houses, a family fun zone, and plenty of goodies. Tickets are required for entry, and adults must accompany children.
