Tomball German Christmas Market
Every December, the Tomball German Christmas Market transforms Old Town Tomball into a festive wonderland. This free event will be held on December 12-14, 2025 and fills the streets near the Historic Train Depot with holiday lights, live music, and more than 150 vendors. It is one of the most popular annual events in Southeast Texas and the perfect place to find unique gifts, enjoy delicious food, and experience true community spirit.
Tomball Bluegrass Festival
If you love live music, plan a visit during the Tomball Bluegrass Festival. The event takes place at the Tomball Depot and features national and local bluegrass bands. Parks in Tomball
Burroughs Park
This park is one of Tomball’s biggest outdoor spaces and a local favorite for good reason. You’ll find several playgrounds, wide walking trails, a fishing lake, and plenty of picnic spots shaded by tall trees. It’s the kind of place where families host birthday parties, kids race around the open fields, and you can spend an entire afternoon outside.
Spring Creek Park
Spring Creek Park has everything from RV campsites and barbecue pavilions to a disc golf course and sand volleyball. The 114-acre park is open daily and has a 1.7-mile trail, tennis and basketball courts, and even areas for Scout camping. It’s one of those spots that works for both a relaxing picnic or a weekend of outdoor fun.
Kleb Woods Nature Preserve
For something quieter, head to Kleb Woods Nature Preserve. The 133-acre property combines nature trails, wetlands, and an old family homestead that tells the story of early life in northwest Harris County. It’s a great stop for nature lovers or history buffs who want to see a different side of Tomball.
